TECHNOLOGY
- RECCO® is an avalanche rescue system, utilized worldwide to facilitate the rapid location of burials. The two-part system consists of a detector used by organized rescue groups, and reflectors that are integrated into our apparel. Together they enable rapid pinpointing using harmonic radar but are not a substitute for transceiver use.
- PrimaLoft® insulation's silky softness, high loft and incredible warmth mimics goose down, but it's engineered with proprietary finish technology to deliver permanent water resistance.
- Pertex© Shield: A three-layer system, Pertex© Shield provides a perfect balance of waterproofing, breathability, and wind and water repellency, with flexibility and lightweight construction. The fabric is incredibly light, but dominates against weather.
- Spylon™: When the powder is deep you need all the dry you can get. Enter Spylon™ durable water repellent (DWR) finish, which retains 80% of waterproofness after 20 washings, and guards against water- and oil-based stains.
