Shiso is a fragrant Japanese basil that is high in calcium and iron. Its leaves can be used to wrap an onigiri (rice ball) or fry in tempura batter for a crispy side dish. The leaves can also be used to wrap fish before grilling, or dried to make tea. This ingenious cultivation kit includes seeds, peat mix, and growing instructions, all packaged up and tied in the style of a traditional Japanese rice bag.
